Kohl’s
Kohl’s is a proud supporter of Sesame Workshop’s Emotional well-being initiative.
Kohl’s is a proud supporter of Sesame Workshop’s Emotional well-being initiative which is designed to support the mental health of young children and families, and especially designed to reach those who are most marginalized, by encouraging lifelong skills and activities essential for their positive development and growth.
Sesame Workshop and Kohl’s seek to create new innovative, bilingual (English/Spanish) resources and practices to: Support the essential strategies to foster young children’s well-being through areas of emotional, social, physical, and mindset development, provide ways to identify, present or lessen emotional distress, and elevate awareness of and destigmatize conversations surrounding young children’s mental health.
This multi-faceted, locally customized initiative intends to fill a gap by providing resources for caregivers and professionals to support children’s emotional health and nourish their well-being. All children, regardless of geography, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, or culture, need support for their emotional well-being—the foundation that helps them thrive over their lifetimes.
Kohl’s donation is made possible through Kohl’s philanthropic program, Kohl’s Cares®Goods for Goods, which sells children’s books and toys and donates 100 percent of the net profit to support the health and wellness of families in our communities nationwide.
