The Iowa Alliance for Healthy Kids is made of representatives from nonprofit and government agencies who partner with Sesame Street in Communities to promote social-emotional well-being of young kids and early relational health with families.
Many professionals and organizations across Iowa are becoming involved in this effort with us. The Steering Committee is led by stakeholders from these organizations:
- Common Good Iowa
- Early Childhood Iowa
- Iowa ACEs 360
- Iowa Campaign for Grade-Level Reading
- Mid-Iowa Health Foundation
- Orchard Place
- Prevent Child Abuse Iowa
- Project LAUNCH
- United Way of Central Iowa
- UnityPoint Health – Blank Children’s Hospital
The foundation for lifelong success begins in early childhood. Together we can help Iowa’s kids build the social and emotional skills to learn and grow to their full potential.
