Some families, including military families, can be affected by unfair and unkind things. Practicing self-care is an important way to stand up for yourself, and against unfairness. When we take time to care for ourselves, we can help ourselves (and our children) find ways to heal.
Write one or two things you will do everyday to practice self-care (children can draw pictures of their self-care strategies in the video). Place it where everyone can see as a reminder of how self-care needs to be part of your everyday lives.
