Self-care doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, it can be GREAT. In this video, our Sesame Street friends sing about all the great things we can do with our families to take care of one another.
As you watch, you might jot down some of the strategies that are mentioned in the song. How many can you find?
After you watch, you might want to identify one or two of those strategies that you will try to do this week. Challenge your family: how many times a week can you try to do this one strategy? Can you make it part of your routine? Once you are ready, how many more strategies can you practice in a month?
Remember, doing great things, like self-care, is what makes us great families!
