Tamir is an 8-year-old boy who lives with his mother, father, and older brother. He loves to read and draw, especially silly superheroes with all sorts of unusual powers. 

Tamir enjoys playing soccer with his friends, and he loves to tinker and build different gizmos and gadgets. Tamir and his mom are both vegetarians, and they love eating colorful fruits and vegetables; hummus and carrots are one of Tamir’s favorite snacks. Tamir spends lots of time with his mom volunteering at the Sesame Street community garden, which his mom oversees. Together, they take care of the plants and flowers and grow fruits and vegetables to share with the community.
