Dani’s Triggers
The friends learn about asthma triggers.
After watching the video together, explain to kids what an asthma “trigger” is: it’s something that can give people with asthma trouble breathing. Ask kids to name their own asthma triggers (or those of someone they know). Are any of theirs the same as Dani’s? Let kids know that different people can have different triggers. Common triggers include pollen, mold, dust, cold air, physical activity, secondhand cigarette smoke, and furry or feathered animals.
