Children can help Cookie Monster try healthy foods.
Print this page and explain that Cookie Monster loves cookies, but he tries healthy food too. If your child had a restaurant and Cookie Monster came, what healthy foods might he like to try? Help your child complete and personalize the “menu.”
Playing pretend is a great way to model and teach healthy habits. You might use the menu to play “restaurant” together, with one of you acting like Cookie Monster and the other acting as chef or server.
