Julia & the Super-Sunny Celebration
When a big (and fun!) job needs to be done, everyone can find ways to help that are unique to them.
It’s human nature to want to be a part of something larger, to truly belong. For that to happen, we need to accept and embrace our differences. And, in fact, that’s what makes Sesame Street such a special place. Big birds and small fairies; eternally happy red monsters and eternally complaining grouches; math-loving vampires like the Count and art-and music-loving redheads like Julia—they do more than co-exist. They respect, love, and look out for one another.
In our own neighborhoods, it’s up to each one of us to do the same. By keeping an open heart and open ears, just like Julia and her friends, we can include everyone in a warm circle of belonging.
