Christopher F. Costa is a proud queer Brazilian-American born and raised in Miami, Florida.
After working regionally in theaters throughout South Florida, Costa moved to New York City to study acting professionally. He trained at the Actors Movement Studio and also studied the Meisner Technique under JoAnna Beckson. After a few years of working professionally in theatre, TV, and film, Costa returned to school to pursue an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama. He’s worked in TV on USA, NBC, and CBS, as well as in voiceover, including his new audiobook narration of Live to See the Day by Nikhil Goyal. Most recently, Costa is honored to have joined the Sesame Street family, especially as part of the GLAAD Media Award-winning team of “Family Day.” He is also cd-founded and co-runs the nobodies collective, a collective of writers, actors, and directors that meet for a monthly lab to workshop new projects! Costa plans to continue working on projects and collaborating with artists who value compassion, diversity, and inclusion, as well as being an advocate for queer youth.
