Cloud Watching
Spending time outside can feel like a “reset” on the day.
When challenges and feelings are BIG, there are little things you can do to help things feel easier for your child. Together with your child, watch this video in which Wes and Elijah take a break, get some fresh air, and look up at the sky.
Try it yourselves! Together, go outside, breathe in some fresh air, talk about the shapes you see in the clouds, name all the colors you see, smell a flower, notice how the grass tickles your fingers, observe birds, and so on. Try using four different senses: sight, sound, touch, and smell.
