We’re in This Together
Fill your life with family, friends, and joy; you're not alone.
No matter what else changes, families and communities are there for each other! Watch the video together, then remember:
- Keep your family close; stay connected however you can.
- Leaving the military is a big change, and with big changes come big feelings—for adults and children.
- Trust each other and stay involved so you’ll know if and when children may need extra help or attention.
- You can ask children, “What makes you proudest about our family?” Encourage them to talk about it, or to draw a picture. You can also create a special family cheer!
Amid changes, building a supportive community and family are key to your well-being.
Moving as a family is great self-care, and can be easy and fun.
Being Still and Quiet
Self-care can be as easy as creating a little quiet.
Keep It Simple
Sometimes self-care means choosing the easier way to do things.
What Went Well?
Self-care can be as easy as finding little wins throughout the day.
Healthy eating is a great form of self-care, especially if you have a plan.
