Vocabulary Adventure Cards
Make learning new words an adventure with these digital flashcards.
Everyday moments can become learning moments. On the bus, at the store, or in a waiting room, kids can build vocabulary, exercise their imagination, and enjoy stories.
Using the cards:
- Connect the words to children’s lives. (“Who do you know who wears a uniform?” “Where have you seen soil?”)
- Invite children to think of words to fill in the blanks to create their very own story. Use the cards over and over, making up new stories each time. Or, read the definitions out loud and challenge kids to name the word you’re defining.
