Watch the video together, then explain that certain foods are very good for our teeth. Together, try these ideas:
- Sing the line “eating crunchy fruits and vegetables, you can’t go wrong” when you want to remind your child to try a few bites of a healthy choice.
- Next time you’re at the grocery store, look for the “can’t-go-wrong foods” like fruits and vegetables.
- Draw pictures of favorite “can’t-go-wrong” foods and display them on the refrigerator.
- When you’re enjoying crunchy foods, listen for the crunch together, like Abby and Elmo did!
