I’ll Be Seeing U
A video about reuniting with loved ones.
Together, watch the video with children. Explain that with vaccines, we can get back to doing lots of the things we love, like seeing important people in our lives, celebrating special occasions, visiting our favorite places, and so on.
Take turns naming people you’re looking forward to seeing again, places you can’t wait to visit again, and anything else you’re looking forward to doing! Invite children to draw pictures to illustrate these things, and display them as a reminder of good things to come, you might also send them to the people who will be involved.
You might point out that the letter U is singing throughout the video and talk about how it stands for the word “you”! On large sheets of paper, help children practice writing U’s (or trace or color in ones that you’ve written).
Print this lyric sheet to display and sing along. Sing along on video chat or phone. Children can sing it to a friend or family member they’re looking forward to seeing!
