How Helpers Keep Us Safe
Talk about community helpers.
- Print this page and have kids follow the maze with their finger or a crayon.
- Ask kids which helpers they can find in each place and how they might get their help. For example, kids might say that a firefighter is a helper at the fire station. To get a firefighter’s help, we would call 9-1-1. Other ways to get help might be talking to an adult (such as a teacher) or asking an adult to call for help.
