C Is for Caring
A printable page about compassion.
Print this page and help children complete it (or just look at it together on-screen and use a sheet of paper to do the drawing activity).
Invite children to explain the words “caring” and “compassion” on their own, then read the definitions aloud to them.
Talk about a time you have noticed them being caring or compassionate with others, and times when you or your family have received care or compassion from others. Ask, “Who do you know who needs our care and compassion right now?” (It can be someone you know or someone you don’t know.)
