Cross-sector Collaboration: Psychosocial Support
Play to Learn’s experience integrating psychosocial support into early childhood development services
Children’s and caregivers’ wellbeing are inextricably linked (Moving Minds Alliance, 2023). Play to Learn integrated psychosocial support (PSS) activities into early childhood development (ECD) services to support caregivers and children individually, as well as strengthen their relationships with each other.
Supporting young children’s healthy development requires programming across multiple technical areas, including psychosocial support, health, education, and social protection. This page highlights Play to Learn programs and technical resources that integrated PSS and ECD services for children and families affected by conflict or crisis. For more highlights on cross-sector integration strategies from across the project, see here.
