His career has seen him in regional theater, Off-Broadway, the small screen, the silver screen, and now digital screens as puppeteer, actor/singer, and voice artist. Born in Tahlequah, OK, Bunch moved around quite a bit before settling in Connecticut in 2000 (He moved 27 times, living in Oklahoma, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, and New York). Bunch’s “big break” in the puppetry world came on the show Bear in the Big Blue House, where he performed Treelo, Pop, and Doc Hogg. He received an Emmy for his work as creative producer on the children’s literacy program Word World and was nominated for a directing Emmy for another PBS program, It’s A Big, Big World.
