Stacey Gordon is a puppeteer from Phoenix, AZ. She operates Puppet Pie, an art studio in the heart of Phoenix, and has the honor of performing Sesame Street’s Julia, a curious 4-year-old girl with autism.

Gordon began her journey with the autism community in 2001 as a habilitation specialist. She uses her personal experiences as a habilitation specialist and mom to bring Julia to life in an authentic, respectful, and loving way. In 2010, her son was diagnosed with autism, and her journey continued. In addition to her work on Sesame Street, Gordon teaches puppetry to neurodiverse audiences around the country and at Puppet Pie. Recently, Gordon partnered with HP to create The HP Print Pals Project, a project aimed at improving communication abilities and nurturing self-expression through puppets. You can occasionally find her driving around in her puppet ice cream truck, Puppet Pie á la Mobile.
