Sesame Street : Neighborhood Adventures, an Immersive Digital Experience, Launches on Roblox
New Sesame Street Hub to Host a Sneak Peek of “Tales from 123” Animation
(New York, NY, October 7, 2025) The longest street in the world just got a little longer with the launch of Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures, a brand-new Roblox experience for Sesame Street fans of all ages. In this immersive, interactive world, visitors can explore the iconic street – from Hooper’s Store and the steps of 123 to the community garden and laundromat. Within the experience, users can design their own Sesame Street character avatar, play themed minigames to help their favorite furry friends, watch show clips (including exclusive content), and use portals to join other Sesame Street games on the platform.
To enter the experience, and for the first time ever, players create their own avatar using the Sesame Street Character Creator. After that, let the games begin!

- Abby’s Hide and Grow Seek
The Magical Beasties, new Sesame Street residents, have suddenly disappeared from Abby Cadabby’s fairy garden, and some of the plant life has vanished along with them! It’s up to players to search around Sesame Street and bring the Beasties back so that the garden can be full of life again. - Cookie Monster’s Cookie Cart Catch!
Cookie Monster is getting a delivery of cookie ingredients drop-shipped for his Cookie Cart, and he needs you to help catch them as they drop in from above. The more ingredients you catch, the more boxes of cookies you’ll make at the end of the game. Try to catch enough to make 10 boxes of cookies. - Sticker Collecting Scavenger Hunt
Hundreds of stickers can be found by exploring 123 Sesame Street and completing tasks. Even simple actions like logging in or speaking with one of the Sesame Street characters like Cookie Monster, Elmo, or Abby Cadabby can earn a player more stickers. Players can also check Big Bird’s mailbox to see if they’ve received a letter from classic characters like Guy Smiley, Don Music, and Two-Headed Monster for more sticker fun.
Completed tasks will earn rewards to unlock t-shirts for a player’s in-game Sesame Street character avatar. With many more minigames, activities, and stories to come on the Hub, Sesame Street fans will need to visit regularly to discover just how far this street stretches.
As part of the launch, Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures will host a sneak peek of Tales from 123. For 24 hours starting at 9:00am ET on November 8, players can watch Sesame Street’s newest animated segment. Tales from 123 invites viewers inside the iconic apartment building to discover the whimsical world Elmo, Cookie Monster, and friends call home. For the first 3,000 visitors who watch the premiere and complete a special quest, they will receive a free custom reward.
“Since our founding in 1969, Sesame Workshop has been committed to meeting children and families where they are,” said Aaron Bisman, Senior Vice President of Marketing. “With gaming and immersive experiences growing in popularity alongside streaming video platforms, this launch is a vital new contribution to our audience-first, omni-channel approach. Our mission is to help children everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder and our new Roblox Hub is an exciting new way we’re delivering on that. We can’t wait to welcome fans of all ages to explore our neighborhood.”
A cornerstone of the Hub is the debut of the Magical Beasties, delightful new creatures who live in Abby’s Fairy Garden. These beasties will make their on-screen debut in new Sesame Street episodes starting November 10 on Netflix and PBS KIDS, but Roblox players can meet them first in Magical Beastie Quest—a fun, educational game exclusive to the platform. Designed for ages 4+, players join Elmo, Abby, and Cookie Monster to care for the Beasties: teaching them new words, feeding and putting them to bed, and playing mini-games to help the Beasties level up. Players earn stars to unlock rare Beasties.

Through the Hub, players can also portal to Sesame Street Mecha Builders: The Game, which has already surpassed 70 million visits since its launch on Roblox in 2022. This single-player STEM experience for ages 4+ lets kids solve fun engineering challenges with help from Mecha Abby, Mecha Cookie, and Mecha Elmo.
The Sesame Street Roblox games are not chat-enabled, ensuring a safe play environment.
“The Sesame Workshop team understands the great power of meeting learners where they are, not just by showing up on Roblox, but by bringing to life a living, explorable Hub and leading players into worlds and narratives that can motivate and reinforce learning,” Rebecca Kantar, Head of Education, Roblox. “Designed with platform-specific architecture and Roblox players in mind, games like Mecha Builders and Magical Beastie Quest foster engaging, playful learning experiences. We are thrilled that young learners will benefit from the skill, storytelling, comfort, and fun Sesame Street offers on Roblox.”
New content will continue to roll out on Sesame Street: Neighborhood Adventures. Plus, mark your calendars: this launch comes in the lead up to new episodes of Sesame Street premiering on Netflix and PBS KIDS on November 10—Sesame Street Day.
