Moschino Releases Sesame Street Collection Featuring Kacey Musgraves
(May 15th, 2021, New York, NY) – Moschino introduces new Sesame Street collection starring Kacey Musgraves. A project born of love for the iconic characters: Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, and Bert and Ernie, the adult-directed collaboration features elements of all things Sesame Street as interpreted by creative director Jeremy Scott. Like so many, Scott grew up watching the show and has carried the Sesame Street principles of kindness, confidence and a natural curiosity about the world’s possibilities in his work.
Allowing the colorful cast to speak for themselves, the designs are all set on neutral fabrics of black, white and heather grey; a black hooded windbreaker, cropped denim vest set, knitted cardigan and sweater as well as nylon accessories with embroidered character patches, several Moschino silhouettes styles with the cast dressed in iconic Moschino biker jacket motifs, tracksuits, tees and sneakers and playful bubble letter logos.
The campaign features another lifelong fan, singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves as the face of the collection in a series of images set on a texture-laden wonderland starring elements of the characters we know and love.
The Moschino Sesame Street collection features 33 pieces of ready-to-wear and accessories.
