Haley Jenkins first began her work on Sesame Street in Season 45.
Haley Jenkins first began her work on Sesame Street in Season 45. Since then, she has had the joy of playing Karli, Marvie for Sesame Studios, as well as various dogs, pigeons, monsters, and butterflies.
She is also part of the team of puppeteers who help bring life to international Sesame Street characters Zari from Baghch-e-Simsim and Basma from Ahlan Simsim. Jenkins puppeteers the title character on the Fred Rogers Productions/Spiffy Productions PBS Kids show, Donkey Hodie. Her puppetry can also be seen in the Sony Pictures film A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, as well as on Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, America’s Got Talent, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Katie Couric Show, and Apple TV’s Helpsters, as well as in commercials for H&M, National Geographic, McDonalds, and Comedy Central. Jenkins has performed on stage in The Pee-wee Herman Show (Original Broadway Cast), John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean, Martin P. Robinson’s All Hallows Eve, and The Center for Puppetry Arts’ Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
