MetLife Foundation
MetLife Foundation provides generous support that helps Sesame Workshop equip children and families around the world with the social, emotional, and financial foundations they need to thrive and build a more confident future.
Since 2009, MetLife Foundation has supported Sesame Workshop’s multimedia initiatives — beginning with programs to strengthen healthy nutrition and hygiene habits, and expanding through the landmark “Dream, Save, Do” initiative, which helped children and families in nine countries build financial empowerment.
Building on this history, the latest initiative leverages the power of mass media and beloved Sesame Street Muppet characters to foster critical emotional well-being skills among children ages 3–6 and the caregivers in their lives — equipping young children with the foundational skills to establish and maintain caring relationships, navigate social challenges, and establish mental and emotional resilience that lasts a lifetime.
