Chief People Officer
Chastity Davis-Garcia is Chief People Officer at Sesame Workshop, where she provides enterprise-wide leadership across the organization’s people strategy in support of Sesame’s global mission.
In partnership with the Office of the CEO and senior leadership, Chastity oversees all aspects of the People & Culture function, including talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, culture, performance management, and change management. She works closely with executive leadership and the Board to ensure people practices are aligned with organizational priorities, values, and long-term sustainability.
Chastity is recognized for her ability to guide organizations through periods of growth and transition with clarity, empathy, and disciplined execution. She brings a strategic, business-aligned approach to people leadership, grounded in the belief that organizational effectiveness and human-centered leadership are deeply interconnected.
Prior to joining Sesame Workshop, Chastity served as a senior people leader in the technology sector, where she helped scale a global organization from approximately 350 employees to more than 4,000. During this period of rapid growth, she partnered closely with executive leadership to build scalable people systems, strengthen leadership capability, steward culture through complexity, and support the organization through significant change.
In addition to her executive leadership experience, Chastity is an ICF-aligned executive coach and a Hogan-certified assessment facilitator. She integrates this coaching-informed lens into her work with senior leaders and teams, supporting executive effectiveness, leadership development, and succession planning.
At Sesame Workshop, Chastity is focused on building and sustaining a people strategy that reflects the organization’s values, supports leaders and employees through change, and enables Sesame to continue delivering meaningful impact for children and families around the world.
