Learning the Word “Transform”
Learn the words “transform” and other science vocabulary on this Word on the Street.
Big words such as “transform” are easier to learn when children can connect their meaning to the things they know, or with hands-on experiences. To help children further explore the word “transform,” you might mix two paint colors and observe what happens. Or, notice what happens to water when left out in the heat. Keep the learning going by asking, “What else can transform?” (One example is a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.)
