You can use materials around you to support children’s creativity and artistic self expression.
Explain to children that everyone is an artist—all you need is a brush, some paint, and your imagination. Together with children, watch this video for ideas to get you started—swirl the paint, draw lines or dots, or draw something you see (or just make it up). Have fun—art can inspire joy in both children and adults!
