One More Time
There are lots of different ways to share the same story, again and again!
Reading a child’s favorite story many times doesn’t have to feel repetitive. Watch the ways that Rudy and his daddy share the same story in special ways. Share this video with children, and see if they can notice all the different ways to read a book, like:
- Changing the volume of your voice (by whispering, or reading loudly)
- Using unique voices for different characters
- Reading the text in a silly way
- Telling the story in your own words (looking at visual cues)
After watching, talk about some of the special ways you may want to read a favorite story together!
