Friends Can Be Different
Learn how even the best of friends can still be different.
- Before viewing, ask kids what a friend is. Talk about what it means to be a friend. (Some ideas to highlight are: Friends are kind to one another. Friends share. Friends can be different. Friends learn from each other.)
- Watch the video together and ask kids their favorite food (or sport, animal, game, book, and so on). Together, see where your interests match—or don’t. Point out that we can have different likes and dislikes and still be friends—that’s what makes our friendships interesting!
