Blueprint for Upcycling
An activity page about upcycling.
Print this page and share it with children. Explain that:
- Paper and cardboard are made from trees;
- It’s good to use them in new ways so that fewer trees will be cut down; and
- This is called upcycling or reusing.
- It’s good for the planet!
Together, talk about what children might like to make from a cardboard box (houses, cars, boats, castles, and so on). Invite children to color the boxes to show their ideas. Next time you have an empty box, try one of the plans!
