Join Rocio Galarza, VP, US Programs Education at Sesame Workshop for a conversation with Aliza Greenberg, educator, advisor, and arts accessibility advocate, and Miranda Lee, autistic educator and access consultant, on how the arts can support and empower autistic children’s confidence and self-expression. Together, they share stories and strategies on how to build a more inclusive arts world.

Meet Our Guests: 

Aliza Greenberg  
Aliza is the Community Outreach Coordinator at LearningSpring School and has served in various roles that advance accessible arts education, including as Project Advisor with the Museum, Arts and Culture Access Consortium (MAC). With experience as a teaching artist, professor, and consultant, Aliza works nationwide to promote access and equity in cultural spaces. She is also a doctoral student at CUNY Graduate Center in Urban Education. 

Miranda Lee 
Miranda Lee is an educator and access consultant with a focus on helping autistic people of all ages and their families. She is co-organizer of the Museum of the Moving Image’s Marvels of Media Festival, which is dedicated to spotlighting and uplifting autistic media makers, and works as an educator at Intrepid Museum, where she helps with tours and access programs. Miranda has spoken to and developed programming and resources for various theaters, museums, and nonprofits. Miranda credits the strengths she built as a consultant, writer, and public speaker to the positive impact theater had on her growing up as an autistic person before a time of widespread Autism Acceptance. Her mission is to ensure autistic people of all ages and support needs can participate in the arts as visitors, creatives, and staff members.
