Sesame Workshop and CollegePre Continue Collaboration on Sesame Street English in Greater China

(New York, NY, December 18, 2017) – Sesame Workshop and CollegePre will continue collaborating on Sesame Street English in Greater China.

The nonprofit educational organization Sesame Workshop and Beijing Kairui Alliance Education Technology Co. Ltd (CollegePre) recently signed an exclusive license agreement directly to continue bringing Sesame Street English to Chinese families and franchise opportunities to Chinese sub-licensees. The five-year agreement, from 1 Jan 2018 to 31 Dec 2023, brings the English-learning program to the region of mainland China (except Fujian), Hong Kong and Macao.

Prior to this, CollegePre became the official exclusive licensee of Sesame Street English in the region of China Mainland (excluding Taiwan and Fujian), Hong Kong and Macao in 2013 under the previous in-direct license agreement, from 1 Jan 2014 to 31 Dec 2023.
