Insect Scavenger Hunt
Embark on a scavenger hunt together with little ones to look for insects!

Go on a scavenger hunt to find insects. Fill in the sheet with pictures of your favorite insects. Make sure they are local to your area. Choose a park, field, marsh, forest, or your own backyard. Listen for insect sounds (like crickets or grasshoppers) and look for the colors of insects (like ladybugs or bees). Remind children not to touch any of the insects in case they sting or bite. Just use their eyes and ears to find them. Research some favorite insects to find out the habitats of where they might be found. If you can find insect stickers, put a sticker on the picture of each insect found.
