Going back to school is always an adventure, and this year, that’s especially true. COVID-19 presents many challenges—and opportunities—for educators, caregivers, and children. In this webinar, Deaunn Stovall, Social Emotional Learning Manager at Porter-Leath, talks us through the ups and downs of learning this year. She shares strategies that grown-ups and children alike can use to regulate their emotions and stay positive in the midst of uncertainty. Learning goals:

  1. Learn ways that early childhood educators can connect with children and families to encourage success in virtual school.
  2. Gain a renewed enthusiasm for supporting young children’s learning.
  3. Explore and practice mindfulness activities.
